Our diversity concept.

In 2022, we developed our first dedicated diversity concept for Bechtle Network & Security Solutions.
It was created based on the principles of the Charta der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter), which Bechtle AG signed in 2020.

"Our employees are the foundation of our company’s success. In addition to qualifications and strong commitment, the diversity of people at Bechtle is one of the key factors for successful teams and an excellent understanding of our customers and markets."

The strong commitment of our Managing Director Marcus Reutter, together with our clear stance on diversity and inclusion, played a key role in the development of this concept and the implementation of our initiatives.

Diversity Challenge.

Our trainees took part in the Diversity Challenge organized by the Charta der Vielfalt and implemented several projects as part of the initiative.

In 2023, they created a cookbook featuring recipes from the countries of origin of our employees at Bechtle Network & Security Solutions.
The aim of this project was to highlight the diversity of our workforce and draw attention to the dimension of ethnic origin and nationality.

Another project initiated by our trainees was a presentation by Lebenshilfe Bayern on the topic “Inclusion in the workplace as part of the BNS diversity concept.” This initiative focused on raising awareness of the dimension of disability.

Pride Champion 2022.

We are committed to equal opportunities, inclusion, and diversity, and we stand firmly against any form of discrimination.

At Bechtle Network & Security Solutions GmbH, our team represents 22 different nationalities and a diverse age range from 17 to 71 years. We actively work to encourage more women to pursue careers in technology and support people of all genders. We also welcome new talents from the LGBTQIA+ community. Within Bechtle, there is a dedicated Pride@Bechtle community that anyone can join. Our commitment is reflected in the Pride Champion award, which we received in Silver.

We are also dedicated to family-friendly working conditions, team balance, and accessibility.

 

Gender diversity and sexual orientation remain important topics in today’s workplace. Although these aspects have nothing to do with the quality or performance of someone’s work, situations such as different family constellations, gender transitions, or coming out can sometimes lead to uncertainties or legal grey areas in a professional context.

For this reason, we want to set a clear example here as well and actively promote openness, respect, and inclusion.
